Introduction to ARCard:

Make Augmented Reality Resume / Business card to attract people which makes a good impact on your Resume / Business card compared to others.

    Technology is updating every day but presenting your resume or giving to your business card to another person is the same as before. But what if I tell you, "you can make your amazing resume which makes more sense or it will make a good impact on others" I have made an AR Card of mine. You can see in the video below.

    I found it is quite difficult to type a website URL written on a Bussiness card or to type an email ID written on it. "Have you ever face this problem?" because I faced this problem a lot. You can show your all information in AR using a mobile app. You can develop an AR Mobile App which scans a particular image and place an Augmented Reality Resume / Business card on it. This kind of technology is called as Marker-based Augmented reality. 

    You can use this type of technology to develop a number of innovative things. The software I have used here to develop this mobile application is free to use so you can also this kind of resume/business card to get a boost in your resume / Business card. You can easily make it. There are so many technologies available to make this kind of ARCard I have used here Unity3D software and Vuforia portal to make my ARCard. You can take the help of a unity developer to make easily this kind of card.

    You can show your all accounts, email ID, Contact number, website, or anything that you want to show in Augmented Reality. Even you can show video in that or you can add URL so that when someone clicks on it, it will go to that URL and shows the exact page whatever it's URL shows.  

How Augmented reality is useful in a Resume?

    Sometimes text written in a resume can not show your actual work done this kind of technology will help you out of that. Suppose you want to show your idea or some work to another person which is mentioned in the resume but you can not describe with any imagination so at that time you can scan your resume and show your work in augmented reality this will help you to two ways,

1. It will make a good impact on the questioner 
2. You can easily demonstrate your idea/work to another person.

How Augmented reality is useful in a Business card?

    This kind of technology is also important in Business card. Suppose someone wants to visit your website or want to mail you she/he will contact you by scanning your card and type whatever she/he wants to email or visit any social media accounts. you can put buttons for each social media account when a person wants to visit any account or website she/he will click n that and go to that social media account or website. Like, I have put here my blog website, LinkedIn and Email address as a button when someone wants to visit my any social media account she/he will scan my Business card (Here I have used my QR Code) which will indicate my social media account as a button when someone press it, he/she will go to my social media account. Even you can also put some 3D models in ARCard which will showcase your work.

    If I talk about the mechanical engineer, 3D Designer, or any Architecture, any of these business personalities want to show their work. they should not go for any paper-based 3D models. They can easily show their card to client and she/he will scan it to display your work. You can see below the image that I have put in Augmented reality.

So, This kind of representation is the best source of your data presentation.

How ARCard works in the video?

There are mainly two working principle of Augmented Reality 

1. Marker-based Augmented Reality
2. Markerless Augmented Reality

    I have used here marker-based Augmented reality which detects the marker (Image) and put the Augmented reality model on that (Here, my User Interface which contains my profile image, basic introduction, Contact me buttons like LinkedIn, my blogger website and Email ID). You can put your image as a marker to place Augmented Reality models on that. You can use your business card a well as a resume or any image so that you can show to someone else with the reference of the marker. It only reads the image you have put as a marker it is great at marker reading it will easily differentiate between many different QR Codes as per my experience.

    The markerless augmented reality does not require any reference marker or any image you can check my mobile app published on Google Playstore [Link] which works on markerless AR. The best example of markerless AR is the "Pokemon Go" game. Lets not more go out of this part.
